Try. They have Expression machines with 2 cartridges for $265. They also seem to have good prices on other cricut supplies too… cheaper than Walmart even with shipping (no tax either!!). Hope this helps.

Rumor has it that Michaels will have a great sale on them. BUT ITS UNKNOWN! Um, they are pretty cheap at Walmart. Its $289.97. They also have accessories that are cheap. Not so much $$

Also, NO. Michaels DOES NOT ALLOW YOU to use coupons on Cricut items (as previous poster mentioned that they do) they dont. They banned the coupons from being used on ALL CRICUT ITEMS. sorry. This sucks for several of us Cricut

All of my cricuts have a square usb port on the back. It looks like the one on my printer. The cord (you can buy at an electronic store) is a square usb on one end and a regular, rectangle, usb on the other.

Provo Craft is not affiliated with SCAL and suggest you do not use it. however I do have SCAL and have not had a problem with it and it has not interfered with my Cricut Design Studio software. My machines are no longer under warranty though. hth

I suggest you try one of the following:
or search in Yahoo groups for the Cricut. I know there are several user groups where all your cricut questions can be answered.

The Bigz dies will not fit. They are too big to fit in the Original machine.
You can use Cuttlebug and some quikkutz in the original Sizzix machine with an adapter. So that means the embossing folders and the thin dies can work.
The original red die cuts are 4 1/2 by 5 1/2- that is the biggest size that you can use in the original Sizzix. The Bigz dies are about 51/2 by 6 and will not fit.
Look on the Sizzix web site for adapters.

Tell you parents you are committed to earning at least 75% of the cost (babysit, do odd jobs, shovel snow for neighbors, mow people’s lawns – be creative) yourself. Show them you’re serious by actually doing the work to EARN that money. Once you’ve earned at least $300, make a polite, humble request to your parents to finance the rest as an “advance” on your next birthday or Christmas present.

In the meantime, ask your friend if you can borrow hers. Make SURE this product is worth it to you to spend the time it’s going to take to earn it.

I got mine off of Amazon, but I know you can get good deals through eBay and Craigslist too. Just be careful that you’re dealing with a reputable dealer (ie – the seller has positive feedback or will let you see the machine before you buy) or that the site/service you purchase through offers some level of buyer protection (eBay and Amazon both do).

I’ve always had better luck getting deals online than in the stores near me, but you might have better luck in your area.

I bought mine off ebay, Cricut has a one year anyway.
